AC Groundworks is a driveway specialist that constructs and upgrades driveways. It’s based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The website Brief
We’ve been working with AC Groundworks since they were established in 2014, originally building the website with the domain drivewayshuddersfields.co.uk. As the business grew through the website, social media and recommendations, AC Groundworks wanted a new website that would cover more than just Huddersfield, as work and jobs were coming in from throughout the region. The website’s number one priority was to build trust with potential new customers so that they could ‘self-qualify’ AC Groundworks services. The driveway and especially tarmac market has a bad reputation for a fly-by-night, unreputable tradespeople so we had to communicate that AC Groundworks were trustworthy.
AC Groundworks’s website was built using our tried-and-tested WordPress theme, which offered AC Groundworks a cost-effective solution for a professional new website. Facebook was proving a popular way for customers to contact AC Groundworks so we installed Facebook Messenger on the website with a contact form so that customers could easily contact AC Groundworks directly. To keep the homepage fresh and up-to-date, the company’s Instagram feed was embedded. This meant that AC Groundworks could quickly post on Instagram and it would automatically feed through to the website.
AC Groundworks now have a full pipeline of work for months in advance. We are now working on local SEO.
Chris has been our web developer for around 10 years now. He has remodelled our website numerous times during that period, and the outcome was always what we had envisioned (and more!). Chris is always a phone call away; his knowledge of tech is astounding, and he always acts upon anything we may need promptly. Chris also runs our Google Ads, which have been a huge success. We would not hesitate in recommending Chris at Get Fletch and would never go elsewhere. Thank you for all your work, Chris!
