AC Groundworks is a driveway specialist that constructs and upgrades driveways. It’s based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
The website Brief
We’ve been working with AC Groundworks since they were established in 2014, originally building the website with the domain drivewayshuddersfields.co.uk. As the business grew through the website, social media and recommendations, AC Groundworks wanted a new website that would cover more than just Huddersfield, as work and jobs were coming in from throughout the region. The website’s number one priority was to build trust with potential new customers so that they could ‘self-qualify’ AC Groundworks services. The driveway and especially tarmac market has a bad reputation for a fly-by-night, unreputable tradespeople so we had to communicate that AC Groundworks were trustworthy.
The Website
AC Groundworks’s website was built using our tried-and-tested WordPress theme, which offered AC Groundworks a cost-effective solution for a professional new website. Facebook was proving a popular way for customers to contact AC Groundworks so we installed Facebook Messenger on the website with a contact form so that customers could easily contact AC Groundworks directly. To keep the homepage fresh and up-to-date, the company’s Instagram feed was embedded. This meant that AC Groundworks could quickly post on Instagram and it would automatically feed through to the website.
AC Groundworks now have a full pipeline of work for months in advance. We are now working on local SEO.
