The headline doesn’t project the Get Fletch brand or tone, but will it work for the LinkedIn audience? Do the emojis add any value? It would be great to A/B test but I don’t have the audience to generate any meaningful data.
The opening paragraph in my opinion is just awful. Any message starting with ‘greetings’ immediately feels like spam or is untrustworthy to me. Starting with ‘Today, I am thrilled to share some exciting news…’ gets to the point a lot quicker, and could entice the reader but it doesn’t say immediately what I want to get across, let’s keep in mind on LinkedIn people are scrolling so only scanning the text to see if they want to read further.
The second paragraph uses the phrase ‘service provider’ which sounds like it was written by an academic, I would change it to simply ‘agency’ as the Get Fletch target audience knows ‘marketing agency’.
The third and fourth paragraphs are all true but just fluff.
The close is too long and isn’t punchy enough, it doesn’t give the reader any incentive to help. Although, when working on new slogans last week ‘horizon’ came up (I wonder if it’s reading my notes app, spoiler it’s not). The close mentions ‘services’ but not what the services are and I wouldn’t use the word ‘connect’ unless talking about my internet connection.
I see the benefits of AI but it’s not there yet from a branding point of view. Yes, it’s great for SEO articles that are the right length to rank with Google algorithms, how true the content is, I don’t know. I think there will be new services in the not-to-distant future for ‘fact-checking AI responses.
Overall I think it’s a great starting point but not ‘on brand’ and would probably attract the wrong sort of clients.
The close tweaked
